Training for operators
The goal of this training is to increase your operating safety and the efficiency of your equipment use. This enables you to enhance your production performance. By teaching safety-related guidelines and knowledge in equipment technology/operation, you will gain a deeper awareness of safety. The target group (unless indicated otherwise) of this training are equipment operators and equipment instructors.
Operator’s license exam
BG drilling rig training
Prior knowledge: Professional experience with Bauer equipment
Contents: Occupational safety, equipment theory, equipment operation, equipment technology, drilling methods, tools and soil mechanics, equipment documentation, maintaining operational readiness
Duration 4.5 days
Prior knowledge: Professional experience with Bauer equipment
Contents: Occupational safety, working methods for large drilling rigs, operating exercises on the grounds, driving on inclines, drilling operations, processes and tools, loading training, daily maintenance work
Duration 4.5 days
Prior knowledge: extensive professional experience
Contents: Theory (occupational safety, equipment technology, drilling tools, maintaining operational readiness) and practice (occupational safety, working methods for large drilling rigs, drilling operations, processes and tools, loading training, daily maintenance work)

Target You receive a standardized certification of your qualification as an equipment operator to fulfil national safety standards. The Bauer Training Center has been an authorized examination center of the ZUMBau in this segment since 2011.
Theory exam: Occupational safety, work theory, construction equipment theory, working techniques with drilling rigs, methods and tool technology, maintaining operational readiness
Practical exam: Occupational safety, work methods, constructing a borehole, installing king piles and backfill process for a borehole, moving a drilling rig to a higher work platform, assembling/dismantling the equipment and loading/unloading to/from transport vehicle

RG pile driving equipment training
Target group: equipment operators, equipment instructors
Prior knowledge: Experience in special civil engineering
Contents: Occupational safety, equipment theory, equipment operation, equipment technology, drilling methods, tools and soil mechanics, equipment documentation, maintaining operational readiness
Duration 4.5 days
Prior knowledge: Professional experience with Bauer equipment
Contents: Occupational safety, pile driving equipment working techniques, off-road driving exercises, driving on slopes, pile driving operations, processes and tools, loading training, daily maintenance work.

Target You receive a standardized certification of your qualification as an equipment operator to fulfil national safety standards. The BAUER Training Center has been an authorized examination center of the ZUMBau in this segment since 2011.
Theory exam: Occupational safety, work theory, construction equipment theory, working techniques with pile driving equipment, methods and tool technology, maintaining operational readiness
Practical exam: Occupational safety, work methods, installing and vibration of drive elements
Pulling and dismantling drive elements, moving a pile driver to a higher work platform, assembling/dismantling the equipment and loading/unloading to/from transport vehicle

Duty-cycle cranes
Prior knowledge: Professional experience with Bauer equipment
Contents: Occupational safety, work and equipment theory, method and tool technology, ropes/attachments, maintaining operational readiness, equipment documentation
Duration 4 days
Prior knowledge: Professional experience with Bauer equipment
Contents: Occupational safety and methods for duty-cycle cranes, operating exercises on the grounds and driving on inclines, using duty-cycle cranes with lifting tools and for lowering operation, daily retrofitting and maintenance work

Theory exam: Occupational safety, work theory, construction equipment theory, working techniques, setup for accommodating loads, maintaining operational readiness
Practical exam: Occupational safety, work methods, working with lifting tools, retrofitting, working in lowering operation

Target group: Equipment operators, equipment instructors, foremen
Prior knowledge: Professional experience with Bauer equipment (MC duty-cycle crane)
Contents: Cutter/grab sites in general, professional knowledge of diaphragm wall technology, trench cutter, diaphragm wall grab, hose drum system, mixing and separation technology for slurries, construction technology BT laboratory, quality assurance through data recording, equipment documentation, working methods, environment, maintaining operational readiness
